destination: Mauritius

The beautiful island of Mauritius is located in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa.  Surrounded almost entirely by coral, this idylic destination is blessed with miles of fine sandy beaches lined with palms. The waters here are crystal clear making them popular for diving and snorkelling as well as kayaking and swimming.

European colonialism has certainly left it’s mark with beautiful mansions and botanical gardens at which to marvel. Influences from Africa, China and India add colour and vitality to this melting pot of cultural charm.
