Faustina IPL 3 in 1
Why I purchased the Faustina IPL 3 in 1
Having spent too much time in the sun without sunblock, I hit my thirties and started to notice facial flushing. In my teenage years and twenties, I had struggled with my skin and breakouts. I ate all the right foods, drank two litres of water a day in a bid to combat the spots but nothing seemed to work.
I spent a fortune on skin products and now I had reached my thirties my skin was being plagued by redness. I went to the doctor who provided me with a cream, which in the long run only made my skin more sensitive. I finally went to see a Dermatologist who informed me I had Rosacea, which was exacerbated if I had a glass of wine or spicy food. Now at the age of 35, I have been having IPL at a private clinic. The results were superb and although it was incredibly painful the block of broken capillaries that covered my nose and cheeks were finally gone and I stopped getting spots. Sadly, due to my genetics, I have had to maintain this regime as the redness does return after a couple of months as does the odd capillary.
As you can imagine this has been very costly and time consuming. It sounds silly but I have a few broken veins on my legs and to find a device that I could use myself instead of having to go to a clinic would be a dream come true.
Could there be an alternative? Having done extensive research to find an at home device that will save me a trip to the laser clinic I finally came across the Faustina IPL 3 in 1.
How does it work?
The Faustina 3 in 1 uses high amounts of energy to produce results depending on your needs i.e. hair removal, acne or broken capillaries. The system has over 500,000 flashes for each of the three functions. There are 5 energy levels to adapt to a wide range of different skin types. There are four lamps in the box, 2 x skin rejuvenation lamps (labelled SR), one lamp for acne clearance (labelled AC) and one for hair removal (labelled (HR).
I have only used the Skin rejuvenation lamp and acne clearance but who knows, I might find myself using the hair removal feature sometime in the future. For those who are using this for hair removal, please note that IPL isn’t as effective on people with white, naturally light blonde, red hairs which contain little pigment or on dark skin tones. It is best suited to those with pale to medium skin and dark hair.
My experience
This device is suitable for the face and body. It works by either gliding over skin, which is best for larger surface areas of the body such as your legs, or stamping (pressing onto the area), which is better for smaller areas where you need more precision. It is important to wear the goggles; protecting yourself from energy produced by the lasers is a necessity. I found the procedure completely painless, a first for me, having had some very painful treatments in the past. I focused on my legs initially and was amazed to see, some, not all dissipate.
Although I saw results immediately, If you have lots of broken capillaries, I would highly recommend having these removed by a professional who will have a much stronger machine. Having said that, these days all I need is a device to help contain spots, redness and the odd capillary that might make an appearance. The Faustina 3 in 1 has produced these results.
What are you waiting for? Purchase yours and save yourself hundreds of pounds in traditional IPL treatment costs.
